Lister here are ways that you guys can summon a persona and survive having your physical body die.
Glass Eye Smash Method - This is a rather extreme or bizarre method of summoning a Persona. This path of summoning requires that a Character either loses an eye in a fight or give it up willingly. That missing eye is then replaced by a glass eye that is imbued with a mystical energy that summons a Persona when the eye is crushed. The eye regenerates slowly while in the Hidden City but it instantly regenerated upon entering the real world so that it can used to keep up appearances.
Evoker Method - A summoning method that is very emo appearing. In our AU universe it is made by the Sasagaki group and is mass produced for the use of research and other things. The newer models actually has a small knife like switch that comes out and cuts the user when they pull the trigger. This summon Personas and their unawakened shades regardless.
Mental Summoning/Card Smash Method - This method requires extremely strenouas training in the case of mental summoning. Since you are using only mind to summon a persona with help at all, this is considered a very advanced summoning method. the mental summoning method can only summon fully awakened personas. The Card smash method is similar to the Glass Eye smash method in that you destroy or crush an object. This form has you imagine a tarot card nearby in which you can destroy to summon your Persona. This method can summon a fully awakened Personas and Unawakened Shades (Partially awakened Personas),
Okay, we will now go over ways of keeping your character's mental abilities or Mind alive (Its only method so don't get your hopes up too much before reading >_<)
Plume of Dusk - Your Characters can keep their mind, memories, personality, etc alive in a plume of dusk. Although this is the only method, you essentially are still alive although you'll never gain your body back. The only way to obtain a new body, and it can not be a human body, is to have the Plume of Dusk that houses your mind into an Anti-shadow suppression weapon or have a one built around your Plume of Dusk.
