The lakeside

"That humans often use stupid as a derogatory or insulting word." Rikoka said before clasping a hand over her mouth in surprise. She sat up and waited to see how he reacted before deciding on what to do.

He blinked."Yeah.." he stepped back some. "W..what are you?" He asked her a little frightened.

"I am a person. Just like you." She said however she soon stood up and had darted off with an amazing amount of agility.

He blinked and started to follow her, slowly.

Rikoka was actually speeding away like an olympic athlete and had also jumped over several fences, trees, small ravines, and giant boulders. She kept running until she was safely away in a open field right by the lake.

He followed her slowly and kept low. He saw her in an opened field and didn't know what too say.

Rikoka sighed and sat down. She seemed lonely and lost although she looked around when she heard some birds chirping happily.

Bartholomew walked her from behind a Bush. He didn't know what to say or do.

Rikoka soon looked at the ground as she grabbed a nearby stick. "I'm alone like always." She said with a sad tone as she drew pictures of people with friends in the ground.

"Aw.." he whispered and stood up. "H..hello." he said softly and looked at her. "You okay?"

Rikoka froze as well as instantly striking out her drawing. "Yes. I am alright." she said softly while looking down and sighing.

He looked at her. "You sure?" He asked her and smiled a bit. "I hope you are okay.." he whispeered and looked down at the ground.

Rikoka looked at him and gave a bright smile. "I am alright although I could use a friend." Rikoka said while she started to draw in the ground with the stick again.

Bartholomeo walked a tad bit closer. "Me too.." he whispered and looked up a bit. He rubbed his arm and bit his lip nervously.

She looked at him with an anxious look. "Will you be my friend?" She asked while staring needingly at him. As if she truly needed a friend to be by her side.

He nodded."sure, I'll be your friend." He said smiling a bit.

She smiled happily at him. "I'm Rikoka. You are?" She asked kindly while holding her hand out for him to shake.

Bartholomew shook her hand."Bartholomeo." He smiled a bit

"that's a rather long name. Do you got a nickname you like?" Rikoka said as she smiled happily while staring intently at him with her eyes.

"Hm....." he thought about it for a bit. "Barth." He answered and sat down beside her.

"Well, its a pleasure to meet you." She said while suddenly laying against him.

"Sorry. I've seen alot of friends do that so I thought it was normal." She said while straightening at the sound of the whistle.

"huh?" She asked curiously before looking down and starting to draw pictures in the ground again.
